Questions:

1.  Do you like presenating information?  (why or why not)

2.  What do you think are the key elements in a good speech?

3.  What is difference between giving a speech about something you enjoy as opposed to something that you do not enjoy?

4.  Why do you believe powerpoint is a helpful tool to use for presenations?

5.  When do you think you will be using power point after high school?

Answers:

1. I’m not too positive about presenting things, I feel awkward in front of the entire class, even though I know every single one of them. Like right now for example, as I read this , I’m probably very nervous.

2. Key elements in a good speech is always speech loud and make eye contact with the audience.

3. When you give a speech about something you enjoy, you put more effort into it. When you speak, everything you say, you say it with emphasis because you enjoy the topic, as apposed to a topic that you don’t enjoy. You would probably make the speech as short as possible to get it over with.

4. Power point is a usually program because it helps you break down your speech into sections, therefore you wouldn’t skip anything important and also you woudn’t forget anything.

5. You will use power point out of school maybe after the teacher assigns a homework.

  1. What struggles did you find while creating this budget sheet?
  2. Why is it important to try and find the meaning behind creating a budget for yourself when you go shopping?
  3. Do you think that you have more of an understanding as to how expensive food can be?
  4. Did you enjoy this project and why?

Answers:

1. Trying to buy items for you while having a budget is more difficult than I expected. You can easily choose things to get and forget that if you get to much, you will have to put back.

2. It teaches you how to save money, and be more conscience of how you spend your money.

3.  Yes, it can get real difficult especially with a low budget.

4. Yes, it taught me how to spend my money efficiently.
